Helping families with children in Snohomish County overcome homelessness since 1984

Three emergency shelter programs, one Pallet shelter community, one safe-parking program.

Over 40 years, we have served more than:

  • 611 families
  • 2,187 individuals – including 1,261 children

We are only one of three shelters in Snohomish County that accepts single dads and families with teenage sons.

This is one single dad’s story.

From our Executive Director

“Interfaith has made great strides in recent years. It’s been an honor coming into an organization that has done so much over the last several years to shelter families with children in homelessness, and walk with them to find housing.

My hope is that we can develop even more emergency shelter units, and more opportunities to keep families in their homes to meet the growing need.”

From Our Supporters

Mayor Cassie Franklin

City of Everett

“The Interfaith Family Shelter is such a valued partner in our community, providing resources to help families overcome homelessness and achieve long term stable housing… which is the best outcome for our entire community.”

“The Interfaith Family Shelter is a critical contributor to our ability to serve homeless families. They have an amazing track record of providing emergency shelter to those on our streets and helping them find stable and lasting solutions. It is difficult to consider the gap in our social safety net if we do not have their facility in Everett. Interfaith exemplifies what it means to provide a helping hand in a time of great need and I am proud to support them.”

Mayor Jon Nehring

City of Marysville

Bob Drewel

Snohomish County Executive (2004-2014)

“I have watched with awe, admiration and appreciation for the care and kindness the Interfaith Family Shelter delivers to our neighbors in need. The Shelter does what it says it will do and can do considerably more with your support!”

“The Interfaith Family Shelter’s mission is really important to support families, now and into the future through transformational and sustainable change. Interfaith really meets the need, and we need to protect that.”

Rev. Meredith Gudger-Raines

Pastor, Marysville United Methodist Church

“We are so grateful for Interfaith’s work in our community and our partnership together. They are our local experts in understanding homelessness, walking with each family at Miracle House in their unique needs, and bringing people together to find solutions. Interfaith is able to take the gifts our congregation has to offer, and leverage them to make a real impact in the lives of countless people.

If you need to see hope in the world, look at what Interfaith is doing.

“All of us at Cascade View Presbyterian Church have been so blessed to have Interfaith as our partner for these last five years with the Cars to Housing program, and for the last two years with Hospitality House. Observing the expertise and care of each case manager who has worked with the families on our property has been inspiring, and the difference being made in their lives is something our whole church feels proud about and grateful for.

Thank you, Interfaith!”
